Warrant and Cycle Patrols on the same day. |
||
Good Afternoon Southfield Residents,
This morning, at approximately 06:00 hours, officers from our team commenced an early deployment to assist and execute a pre-planned warrant. This was carried out in partnership with the East Acton and Ealing Clusters as part of a coordinated joint operation. The primary objective of this operation was to disrupt drug-related activity, including the use, distribution, and storage of controlled substances within the targeted area.
As a direct result of this operation, one individual was arrested on suspicion of drug-related offences. The arrest was made without incident, and the individual was transported to a local custody suite for further questioning.
Following the successful execution of the warrant and with some remaining time in the shift, PC Thapa and PCSO Pang made use of the opportunity to conduct a proactive cycle patrol. The aim was to engage with the local community and maintain high visibility in the area, taking advantage of the final days of the summer season.
However, the patrol was cut short due to a sudden change in weather conditions, which made further cycling impractical. Despite this, officers were still able to engage with members of the public and carried out stop-and-account checks on two males within Southfield Park. After speaking with the individuals and confirming no further concerns, both were dispersed from the area as part of ongoing efforts to prevent anti-social behaviour and ensure public safety.
This reflects our continued commitment to tackling crime, maintaining community presence, and fostering public confidence through visible policing and proactive enforcement.
